Posts: 21 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | rattle on dash A rattle has developed on the dash of my stilo.It is coming from the area around the air vents for the window on the drivers side.What i want to know is can i take off the instrument panel without disconnecting the panel or battery.i dont want to bring it to a dealer it will take to long.thanks

Posts: 25 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | I have exactly the same problem. I took it to the dealer but they said they couldn't hear anything when they took it for a test drive. Let me know if you find a cure.

Posts: 21 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | I think i found the problem by chance i pushed the dash forward towards the windscreen and i got a loud noise from it.It sounded like metal tearing along the treads of the screw that's bolted to the bulkhead.I'm talking it to a dealer next week

Posts: 21 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | got the rattle fixed it was the bolt which holds the dash to the bulkhead but there is a second rattle where the air vents are on the dash getting really p****d off about the problems i'am having thinking about getting the new audi a3 next year
