Help!

Could really do with some help. I've bought a Gunson 'Eezibleed' kit, but the instructions on the box are crap. As I understand it, you connect the bottle to the msater cylinder and a spare wheel to pressurise the syetem, then open each bleed valve 1 at a time. BUT how would I use this kit to drain the system and refill it? Really stuck with this one, and it needs doing desperately.

Take air out of a tyre until it's below 10psi. Put plenty of brake fluid in the Ezebleed reservoir, top up the master cylinder to the top, connect everything up, screw the Ezebleed top onto the master cylinder and bleed your old fluid out of each slave cylinder bleed nipple.
Don't forget to top up the tyre pressure again afterwards

Re: Help!

Knew I could rely on you Decks

So how do you know when the old fluids out and the new fluids all the way in? Is there a distinct colour change?

Only reason I'm so dumb with this is I've never done it before! Also, I'm planning on changing my brake hoses at the same time, how does this affect the process?

Might be a colour change but probably not. You know how much fluid has gone in by the fact the Ezebleed bottle will be nearly empty. There's very little fluid actually in the brake lines as the bore is quite small. When you're fed up with buying new fluid then enough is enough

Re: Help!

Same again, a very small bore so very little fluid in them.
NB You will need to syphon some fluid out of the master cylinder in the end to take it back to the max level from the "to the brim" full. Test your brake afterwards!

Re: Help!

Sorry, I wasn't clear there. I mean what about changing the hoses (got some funky blue braided ones coming)
