Re: Setting the Clock time Stilo

Press the "mode" button to access the menu, then use the up/down arrows to select "clock set" or whatever it says, then use arrows again to set correct time.

Re: Setting the Clock time Stilo

The Stilo is actually equipped with a self setting clock which needs to be activated after every time the battery is disconnected. Here is the procedure.

Ignition on, switch on radio and keep the menu button held in on the radio. The correct time is shown on the radio!
To transfer it to the cluster you need to open the drivers door, close it. Then within 2 seconds open the passenger front door. (Dont do this from inside because the sensor will detect weight on the seat and deactivate the clock function). You need to repeat this on opposite doors and tailgate until the time transfers. (After approx twenty minutes you can work out how fast/slow your clock is and realise that in six months the clocks go back any way)

Joking aside, it is stupid that the RDS clock data can't be sent down the CAN line and automatically.

Re: Setting the Clock time Stilo

I'm not sure that NumanR was joking I still think he's a FIAT dealer technician, lurking...

Anyway, I think the directions to set the clock depend on whether you have Connect Nav+ (7" colour LCD) or not. If you do, then you press SETUP, and go from there. I can't remember the exact choice (I think it's Temperature and Units or something quite unrelated), but you then set the clock and the correct time (sent down the CAN line) magically appears on the rev. counter clock (so just as you said, Rich) - though I think this happens when turning the ignition on, rather than by opening and closing alternate doors!

Cheers,
-Alex
