Hi

Just in addition to the reply of dave I found some visual info
It's a Belgian website so don't mind the language(found it in English)
What you see are outprints of a engine-map
This is brought to a higher level within the specifications of the factory but on the limit of it a so called 10% reserve.

http://www.dmtuning.com/Kenveldenpage.html

http://www.dmtuning.com/dmt_engels/homepage_engels.html
This is the translation in English

I hope the link works.

Hi,

I have just had my 2.2JTD Ulysse re-mapped. Best thing I have ever done to the car. Not only does it iron out any inefficiencies in the original map [which is not designed for performance, but more of a general 'world' approach'] it also uses the engine to its full potential.

See the thread in the Ulysse section for further details. Done by alfanige at Angel Tuning :D

Diesel Dump valve, so what you want a Turbo Diesel that feels like a non-Turbo Diesel to drive then! B)

SB why do you read this tuning topics? you will waste money for the remap and yet the car will get a couple of extra mpg .... try searching for LPG cars.

28.3mpg, very impressive that;)

Jon Paul, if a scooby killer is what you desire, what for the 140bhp multijet stilo, then remap that;)

Stiloboy, I thought the dump valve only released pressure when you change gear[?]

Stilo TURBO!!!!(diesel)

Any Stilo can be a Scooby Killer, just aim right at it and pile into it at top speed.... granted top speed will be lower in a 1.2 but you'll still mince the Scooby! :p

I probably will get my 1.2 Chipped when the car is out of warranty, but until then i'll just tootle along!
