Re: Head lights high beam.. help

I've been through this with mine and discovered nobody knows how to adjust them.

Take it to a good dealer.

I found a picture that shows an adjustable screw this one will allow to modify lateral alignment but maybe you have to take the bumper out:

The one marked with the number 6.

Re: Head lights high beam.. help

Well spotted That and the regular plastic adjuster should provide full alignment.

But why do you want to adjust them?

On mine it turned out to be nothing more than a badly seated bulb

Re: Head lights high beam.. help

I adjusted mine both vertically and horizontally, it's simple

If you look behind the headlamp you will see two white pins sticking out, one behind the high beam and one behind the low beam. If you want to adjust the vertical alignment, you will need to turn the pin behind the low beam with a small spanner clockwise for up and anti-clock wise for down. To adjust the Horizontal alignment turn the pin behind the high beam in the same direction as you want to go.

You need to set the car on an even surface about 20ft from a wall. Done mine myself and there perfect now

Some times it will look like the beam isn’t moving but, trust me, it is!

Re: Head lights high beam.. help

What do you align it to on the wall? The bottom where it meets the ground?

That's a very interesting post.

So you're saying you track BOTH dipped AND main beam together

Presumably there must also be some adjustment to change main beam relative to dipped or is this simply not possible
