| EgyTuner.com... | complete lack of info for connect nav yup, as the title says, i cannot find ANY information, here or on the interweb, on the connect nav unit (not the connect+). updates, features, issues, fixes, ....etc as some of you may know, my connect unit is buggered, i have even removed it for the car for several hours and it still has the same settings. it freezes when i press audio and will not eject cd that is inside.

| Glutton for Punishment | Re: complete lack of info for connect nav Upgrade to Connect Nav+ then . . . ![]() The problem with Connect is that it was withdrawn rather quickly from the Stilo lineup; initially there were three units, of which 2 were ever fitted, and then due to the stupidly low cost difference, Connect Nav was deleted and just Connect Nav+ was fitted. I'd try going back to FIAT and asking them for an update disc from Teseo - there might be one available. Try ejecting the CD when the ignition is not on and with the Audio module off.

| EgyTuner.com... | Re: complete lack of info for connect nav ITS FIXED! after i took the whole thing apart a few times, a mate from work decided to have a go, he was more familiar with the slot in mechanism than i was and managed to get the stuck CD-RW out. plugged it back in and...........warning CD error just as i was about to get out of the car and cry like a baby, it reset itself and all was good so now i know its allergic to CD-RWs still though there is a lack of info and resources for the unit. mine has firmware 7.1, 1) is there a newer version? how to get hold of it? 2) my maps are the navtec 2001, is there a newer version for the connect? if so how do i get my mutts on it? 3) will the CN+ maps work in it? cheers guys, im sure im not the only one with the humble connect

| Glutton for Punishment | Re: complete lack of info for connect nav Glad to hear its working now. I wouldn't use CD-RW's with Connect Nav+, and I know the CD multichanger doesn't read them, and I'm pretty sure the standard headunits dont either. As for the rest: 1. I doubt it, best place to go is back to FIAT. 3. Yes 2. Ask me nicely
