| Glutton for Punishment | Re: is it just me The accelerators are quite light, it just takes getting used to. What engine is it? All Stilo's have the same accelerator (plastic pedal potentiometer) except the 1.8, which has a metal pedal with rubber cover being attached to the plastic potentiometer. I am as of yet unable to find out why - theory being that the plastic throttle was too light and caused excess revving (it has a Brava's throttle body, so maybe it was cheaper to have another throttle designed? Who knows?)

| Whaddya mean too old? | Re: is it just me The accelerator is terribly light and can't help fuel economy with constantly over compensating. I put a restraining spring on my accelerator, much easier now and with more feel, i don't need my ballet shoes now Kieran Have you tried an ECU reset? There was an ECU mod in Mar 2005 for 1.6 ECUs specifically for the revs hanging up at 2000rpm for too long. They should hang for a second to assist gearchanging and stuff but if they're just hanging on for ever then check it out.

| Whaddya mean too old? | Re: is it just me Have a look here http://www.fiatforum.com/stilo-techn...-mod-ever.html Depends whether yours is left hand drive or right hand dirve though An hour should be fine to disconnect the battery for an ECU reset
