Towing with an Abarth

I have just taken delivery of a bright yellow Abarth complete with semi auto box and about a thousand toys! I just wanted to check a few things out. Firstly has anyone towed with one? I need it to tow my car trailer and single seater (about 800kgs) and wondered how well the gearbox will cope (bit late now Ive bought it if its not good:shakehead ).
Second question......I once had a Marea 150 and (not that I ever did) it needed its engine out to have its cambelt changed. My Stilo has covered 53,000 and I believe that it needs a belt at 60,000? Is that right and is it an engine out job still?
Lastly....what is most likely going to go wrong with it first? The semi auto box scares me the most!!!!

Re: Towing with an Abarth

Thanks....I was concerned because it used to be that a lot of automatic cars died early through towing!

Re: Towing with an Abarth

sillispeed gearbox isn't true automatic - it's semi-automatic
there are robotised arms driven by hydraulic pressure to operate clutch and gear changes, and everything else is just like in the manual gearbox

ps sorry for my english
