Remove the battery

Does removing the battery on a Stilo cause any problems with central locking or other electrical systems? And while I'm at it, how the hell do you get the sidelight holders out without snapping them? I've already snapped one, AND blew the bulb at the same time!!!

Removing the battery causes no adverse problems.
