| Radio on Ignition Hi, sorry if this has been asked befor. I have a Sony CD player in my Stilo which I would prefer to be switched off when the ignition is turned off. At the moment I have to switch the player off every time I get out of the car (except for today, when returning to the car after work the radio was still on, been on all day). I have looked at the loom but there does not appear to be a switchable live. Any one know any different ?

Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: (0) | If it’s anything like my Clarion, then I think it’s something to do with not having a second switched supply off the ignition. I have to remember to switch off my radio when I park up.

Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: (0) | Its more a Fiat thing ive found. Every fiat we've had the stereo has to be turned off manualy, unless the stereo has its own auto off function like the built in visteon or blaupunts used on the range. Have to add that any stereo thats been used in the Fiat and is then moved into our rover, the rover turns them off when the ignitions off. Although the Fiat does turn the lights off which other cars leave on. Seemed like a reversal of whats left on and what goes off to me. Scorg Stilo Dynamic 1.6 Sky Blue

| oh me gums! | all you need to do is replace the main power with an ignition live,at the moment the memory and main lives are both constant, any auto electrician can do this for you.if you know how to work a multimeter you can run a feed from an ignition live to feed the stereo,it was the same with my cinq The Fiat Cinquecento Fun While It Runs

| Thanks for the replys Scorg, custard boy & Sparkybrite. looks like i'll just have to get used to swithing it off myself until the cars warranty runs out. Then i'll wire it in myself. I have done this many times on previous cars. I just dont want to invalidate my qwarranty in any way.

| If it's wired like the original there is a function in the mycar setup to switch it on/off with the ignition. Les Ross Certified by a Professional. 03 Stilo 5d JTD80 Active PSI Powerbox and go-faster turtle. Metallic Navy Blue

| Mines the same, but at least it reminds me to take the front off so I leave it as it is. Stilo 1.6 Dynamic. Jet blue and standard.

Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: (0) | Having a Sony unit in the Stilo as well its a bit of a pain. Tried the Mycar on off option but that doesnt work. Think the only aftermarket it will do that on that im aware of is the blaupunks Scorg Stilo Dynamic 1.6 Sky Blue
