K&N 57i INDUCTION KIT - FIAT STILO 1.6i/1.8i 16V

Hi,

Has anybody bought one of the above for their Stilo? I have 2002 1.6 16v Dynamic and was wondering if it was worth buying and would I see any considerable performance?

You can pick them up on Ebay for around £69....

Thanks,
Lee

Buy it then throw it in the bin, K&N are all noise and no go.

Get one from GSR then you'll get some proper gains, can't remember the exact gains but I'm Sure PNL will be on and tell you

Cool Re: K&N 57i INDUCTION KIT - FIAT STILO 1.6i/1.8i 16V

yes they are not worth the outlay off the £69 in fact the filter medium is not that bad for a cheapo its the way the induction is produced and routed that does it no justice and in fact on a recent dyno day the abarth actually had less BHP with the K&N kit fitted than standard abarths I think that says it all now onto the 1.6 my car had before the induction [GSR] was fitted only a stainless steel power flow system and again did a run of 100bhp now that's 3bhp down on standard we couldn't understand why but proceeded to fit the GSR induction anyway it was rerun on the road and produced a 117bhp figure on the first run and then settled down to 113bhp on subsequent runs remapping this afterwards resulted a figure of 120 bhp so there you have it a full picture of my day and a great success for the designer Oldschool many thanks to him [a great friend ]for the very first one and remapping of the 1.6
