Anyone know this fault?

Fault code P0105 'Pressure Sensor'

This fault has been read and cleared from my car today by the AA.
Anyone know what the fault is as the AA didn't?

The car stalled and gave error, I restarted and car was fine and drove 15miles home and it drove as normal. Engine light stayed on but no further 'Engine Fault' warning.

Any clues to what this fault is?

Thanks

Re: Anyone know this fault?

not sure what it means but I've found this if it helps

Fault code: P0105 Manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit malfunction.

Sorry if that was no help to you whatsoever

Re: Anyone know this fault?

No!! That was a big help - Many thanks Dan!

That would be the MAP sensor then which I have had an error on before (didn't get the code last time) Think these sensors are quite robust and just need the contacts cleaning.

Thanks again for your help - much appreciated.

Re: Anyone know this fault?

I got this fault in september last year and driven round with it since... Had it tested today with a X431 Diagnosis Computer.... P0105 Manifold absolute barometric pressure sensor - circuit malfunction (Intermittent) is all is says on the printout...

Theres your diagnosis and all it will say to fiat for £35 of your hard earnt cash.

We cleared the error and everything has gone back to normal... revs ok etc... im putting it down to the battery on its way out and im investing in a 74ah varter heavy duty battery around £75 quid on the net.

To add to the Fault codes dictionary i think we should have on The Fiat Forum i also got this one:

P0460 - Fuel tank level sensor - circuit mailfunction (Intermittent)

This one only came on once, about a month ago and then disapeared for good...

Like i say I think its down to the battery having a low vaultage store as seen on the indicator on top of the battery... I think the best us Stilo owners can do is give all our Stilos and new source of energy and buy new batteries...

it is a life size remote control toy, After all!

Re: Anyone know this fault?

If the ECU as been updated to latest software (only way you can tell is with examiner) then it looks like a actual sensor fault or leak at manifold/loose or holed pipes etc.

Re: Anyone know this fault?

They also told me i had the latest updates... so its possibly a fault with the exshaust system etc not the actual sensor malfuctioning? The sensor is working but their is a problem with something.
