Wind Nosie

I seem to get quite bad wind noise from the passenger side (wing mirror area in particular)when I hit about 60 mph on my 5 door Stilo. Does anyone else notice this on their cars or is it just me?

I'm beginning to wonder whether there's a problem somewhere with door seals or similar. ;) Anyone any thoughts?

Cheers

If you search around, this issue has already been raised and many questions answered.

I raised a wind noise problem with my dealer.... reply " compaired with other Stilo, noise no worse"

So if you car was good before tough luck, try getting it fixed.... i dare you! [V]

Just turn the stereo up, that seems to be the common comment on here. My recommendation however is get some cotton wool, a roll preferably, pull a big log streak off and stuff about 30% of it into your ear, with the remaining 70% trailing down onto your sholder! [:o)]

Live life a little, get a Fiat, pick a Stilo, watch it fail, book it into a arsehole dealership, having no repairs carried out, get an ulcer, suffer depression, get a baseball bat, get f**kin even!!!

Stiloboy, if you are so unhappy with your Stilo why don't you reject it? Or sell it? Or trade it in? Instead of spending you time on here slagging it off! :D

last time I heard wind noise to an extent of wistling and howling would of been on the Tempra and also on the Tipo, those where bad.
Any wind noise I hear from the stilo is the usual type you get with something resisting the wind, know its there but its really faint and not noticable unless your listening for it

No point in a site where everyone is all happy clappy about a car that isn't 100%. When there is problems we are all entitled to a bitch and whine! ;)

I've learnt over the past ten plus years of car ownership & for that matter everything I buy, that nothing is ever perfect or works 100%

It is wrong that all these co. get away with poor workmanship, but I have sadly began to accept things being less than 100% right as it leads to a far less stressfull life. Don't get me wrong though I'm not surrounded by busted gadgets, just things with minor faults in some cases!

Aye, well one of my back brakes has now started to squeek, how irritating is that, not to mention the wear on the pad/disc, the possible fuel economy implications.

No doubt when i ask the dealer to look at it when the car goes in a few days they'll say they won't have time, or like last time selective memory will mean they do sod all! :(
