Strut brace...

Hello peeps, would fitting a strut barce alter the geometry of the front wheels i.e alignment?

I am thinking of fitting one but want to know if would need to get the alignment done once fitted.

what car have you got? and what strut brace is it?

if you have a JTD or abarth selespeed you may have problems.

I have a 02' 5dr stilo abarth selespeed. What probs do you think I will have?

Easy mod for the oilburners though its just a case of making up a plate and lowering the fuel filter

Yes, but be a darn site easier if OMP actually supplied the mod with the brace.

Seems an obvious thing to do as it's impossible to fit otherwise

Dragging this thread up here but im thinking of fitting a strut brace to my 1.6 and ive read the guides but im a little worried that personally I wont be able to fit it myself? (as im a bit of a dunce!) So my question is, would a garage be able to fit the brace?

Its very easy to fit mate if you have a drill and bits and can use it you should be able to fit the brace no problem ..I should point out tho that it did obstruct pipes on the drivers side on the 1.6 and thats why I decided to build a new version for my 1.6 ..OMP got it totally wrong with theirs and the one brace deosnt fit all stilo's

How much was your strut brace? Ill have to have a poke around my suspension turrets to see if anything is in the way!
