ASR/MSR questions

Hello

I have a Stilo 1.2 a year now. (25/03/2003)
This series of Stilo was the first ones that they don’t have ASR/MSR.
I didn’t like and I was terrible angry [:(!] because I want it with ASR/MSR. The sales person told me that your order is with ASR/MSR.[V]

They have cut also the lights on the doors, the power plug, and the extra drawer on the seat from the co driver.
I have added the lights on the doors & the power plug again with extra cost of course. This was easy because the cable was already installed in the car, only the plugs were removed.

So my question is can I add the ASR/MSR possibility to my Car. I believe the sensor and the cabling are there only the unit of the ASR/MSR is missing. ASR/MSR as far as I know it’s controlled from ABS. Stilo has ABS Bosh v5.7 and its support ASR.

Thank you
John

Why bother, i find i practically never light up the tyres, wet or dry! Its one less thing to go wrong with your car, which can only be a blessing! [V]

2003 3 Door Stilo 1.2 Active, Sassy Grey, 5 disc CD Changer, Abarth boot badge, plastic wheel trims - and 42.4mpg average so far. Love it, Oh yes!

Thanks!

I know that, but its very usufully to have it.

It depents on the streets that you are driving and belive me they are not so good here, specialy when they are wet or dry!

Its good to have the technology to prevent and help us from something that we do wrong, not to full protect us!

I'd be surprised if you could to be honest. The ECU will need to be have code on it which may not be present on yours. I don't think it's a simple case of putting in the mechanical bits that are missing. I would imagine you would need some ECU input to get it working but I could be wrong.
