(T) Why is it.....

At least I think I know what this is- as i cant get under the bugger, is there a metal heatsheild on the exhaust around the handbrake area?

Heat shields are fixed to the body by stupid clips that come loose

my heatshield around the backbox started rattling and i thouht it was a hole in my zorst! I was quite annoyed at the car when I found it so I just hit it and it clipped back into place, no more rattles

problem solved!- until i can get under it!

well i had an idea anyway as i have heard similar noises in an astra i borrowed once, which was a heat shield.

Wasnt worried- more mildly agrravated!!!!!!!!!

Probably a pebble in the rear ashtray...

I once took a doorcard off my ibiza to change a speaker I thought had blown, only to find one of those small bottles of orange juice from maccy D's (empty) was causing the rattle.
