| Stilo Multi wagon Rear Suspension bushes I ahve just been informed by a garage( that I trust) that the rear suspension bushes on my 03 multiwagon have collapsed and that I face a repair bill of £1000, full replacement 'no push' in bushes. In talking to the dealer ( who I dont trust) they are surprised that on a car with a milage 35K this has happened and are trying to 'do us a deal' to keep our business. Has anyone else encountered this?

| It's about GO! not SHOW! | Re: Stilo Multi wagon Rear Suspension bushes Quite a few interesting threads on this Forum if you'd care to search for them. Apparently, you now can replace the bush alone (instead of complete rear axle) which should make the job substantially less painful

| The modfather | Yes Argo is correct this is apparently a recent development from Fiat so check this out before parting with your hard earned cash and if you cant get the bushes consider a second hand axle from a later model bushes are around the £20 mark on the later models

| Re: Stilo Multi wagon Rear Suspension bushes what was the reason that the garage found the fault, was it during a service?

| Re: Stilo Multi wagon Rear Suspension bushes This happened to my Multiwagon at 3100 miles and thank god it was still under warranty and was replaced for nothing. Consider sueing Fiat under the Sake of Goods Act as this should not happen on any car at this mileage, it is not fit for purpose and should be of merghatable quality. I am now sueing Fiat relating to three broken coil springs since my warranty ran out.

| Re: Stilo Multi wagon Rear Suspension bushes my suspension has also been giving me problems. Loud banging on pot holes terrible ride. Replaced the shocks And noticed the bushes had collapsed. Cant believe the suspension is so shoddy. I have read that you can buy the bushes but can anyone tell me if you can replace them yourself. I have replaced some on a landrover but it didnt require a vice press just a case of burning out the old and replacing with poly bushes that slotted inside on another.

| The modfather | Bugger of a job on the stilo apparently and a press make it a lot easier to extract and refit the bushes..and no polly bushes available for the stilo either.

| Re: Stilo Multi wagon Rear Suspension bushes Takes a day to do and aint that hard if you've got a bit of common sense and a blacksmiths vice to press the new ones in with, bushes are £15 quid each from fiat.
