Wheel Nuts

ive just fitted some 16 inch alloys 215/40/16 to the stilo but im a bit concerened the bolts taken from standard wheels are not long enough
not sure whats caused my concerns
anyone any ideas or suggestns(cant spell wont spell) to what length bolts should be or from what model i can adopt some from

if the wheels you had before where steel then no, bolts wont be long enough, dont drive it with them on

I have a set of locking bolts here and just measured one for you its 25 mm in length from the base of the taper to the end the standard one measures 22mm its only 3mm I know but dont use them get the correct length and if you need lockers for your alloys the set I have are for sale PM me

hi pnl wheels came with locking nuts but thanks all the same for the offer
found these on ebay M12 X 1.50 (26mm long) 60 deg taper nuts about 21.00 pound in total for 16 not sure about the m12 x 1.50?

IIRC its a 12mm diamater and 1.5 thread p[itch.cant remeber but i think fiat use a 1.25 thread pitch

You do know that your wheel tyre combo is much smaller than standard I assume?

i dont know ? anyhow i called my friendly fiat dealer and computer said no
only one type of bolt for the stilo whatever type of wheels you have?

Put Abarth alloys on my Jtd and used same bolts, sure accessory brochure said same bolts used on all wheels, just need locking ones for security. Not had any problems so far but after reading this i'm slightly worried!
