Re: Brembo discs

Well another morning wasted on the phone....

Mintex have confirmed that the pads are definately not theirs. so contacted the dealer who says "no i sent you EBC instead coz we were out of stock"

I don't beleive for one second that these are EBC pads and anyway - they don't stock EBC 'black' pads !! and even if they do - they are worth less than the Mintex ones I ordered!!!

Now got to send them back and will get sent a set of 'real' Mintex pads. (I happen to know they have recieved a snotty call over this from Mintex UK )

Just out of interest I sent the photos to EBC as well to see if they are theirs.... no answer yet....

Why does everything have to be so complicated ?

Re: Brembo discs

fortunately i can report that these are 'real' mintex pads with the logo on the back..

now just got ot get the discs changed (still waiting for the return details to arrive so I can send them back!)

name and shame time again! www.atozmotorspares.co.uk - avoid like the plague!

I haven't contacted the supplier yet because, if they are fake, I will be contacting via trading standards/Visa and if poss the police..

yup i had alarm bells about these guys.they had an ebay listing showing EBC pads but in small print it stated they had limited numbers of EBC pads and alternatives would be sent in case of no EBC being available.
they have had disc listed the same way

Re: Brembo discs

OK - all is good in the world of F-J once more.....

Finally got my refund from POTN on monday! (4 weeks!! )

ordered replacement discs from swiftsperformance.co.uk at 10am yesterday and they were delivered at 9:30am today! AND I am happy to report they are the correct discs this time!

I paid a little extra (£14) but it was worth it!

Can't thank this company enough. excellent service and pleasant to deal with.

I'll post a piccy when they are fitted....
