| Reverse & bang My car has been in for new clutch, driveshaft seal twice and creaking pedal, in the last two months! Now when I reverse I am sometimes getting a bang once the car is travelling backwards, just one loud clonk noise. If I reverse at a sensible speed hardly ever get the noise, if I reverse fast it is a very loud bang. What could this be? I already know if I take it into dealer they will reverse and there will be no noise so just wondering if it could be serious? Cheers

| Re: Reverse & bang Are these gearbox & engine mounts/bolts easy to see? Will I be able to see if one has gone. Assume as they did clutch they've not done something up right? Pointers as to where I should look please.....Thanks

| Re: Reverse & bang Thanks, I,ll be having a look tomorrow. Any Stilo owners tell me if I'm looking underneath and on top? I'm loathed to go back to dealer for 4th time in 2 months, I might see if I cant see anything if it gets worse as it is only when reversing at high speed......currently!
