| Another Newbie Question. Hi Folks, I note that the owners manual for the Stilo MW warns against the use of mobile phones inside the vehicle unless used with an external aerial. I can see that a maker would cover their a$$ in this way, against any interference problems with the electronics, but has any member found any issue with use of a mobile in this way ?. I see lots of modern car users using mobiles ... without any apparent ill effect.

| Re: Another Newbie Question. It also has something to do with the phone having to increase the power of the tranmitting signal, as some reduction is experienced with the metal bodywork blocking the EMF. This increase in transmit power can have stronger effects on things, including (alleged) brain issues....... uh
