Blueflame Exhausts, any good?

I fancy a new exhaust to replace the standard abarth one, any ideas about which to go for?

Ive been quoted around £175 for a dual exit blueflame backbox fitted, any thoughts on this?

not sure about their car ones, when they got into the motorcycle market a few years back their stuff was very keenly priced but not of the best quality.

Re: Blueflame Exhausts, any good?

yeah, i used to work for Hein Gericke in preston and we had a load of customers who bought their race cans, like you said not the best quality but then again they were loads cheaper than Micron/Remus/akropovic etc.

I don't know their bike exhausts are top notch, I don't know about their car exhausts though. I have a supersprint on mine & although it was very expensive it is tuned to the car! & also comes recommended by a lot of tuning places, supposed to add 8bhp.

Re: Blueflame Exhausts, any good?

Blueflame now make ALL exhausts for TVR's!

Had my blueflame on for a couple of years with no probs whatsoever. Note is also very nice. Nothing deafening - just a nice sweet note in a certain rev range.

Re: Blueflame Exhausts, any good?

A few people on a Skoda forum have Blueflame full exhausts fitted to Fabia vRSs and are more than happy with them, apparently

Re: Blueflame Exhausts, any good?

I should think they are. The VRS standard exhaust is almost as ugly as the stilos one. I followed one the other day and that tail pipe looks really sad mate. What was they thinking

Re: Blueflame Exhausts, any good?

Mate of mine also has one on his Skoda (remember little Si with the black HGT?). He travelled up from Reading for the day up to the North West just to get one fitted.

I think theyre great exhausts.

Re: Blueflame Exhausts, any good?

A mate of mines got one on his Pulsar GTI-R. He tells me its badged as a different name of another exhaust manufacturer! (can't remember who! but it was a top, reputable one) Apparently most Japanese modified cars have BlueFlame exhausts on them these days!
That must mean they're good!

Thats the one mate. It don't look too bad in that picture but on the car in RL it just looks really weird. I think it could have been a lot better for that car as it's the only thing letting it down at the back, just like the stilo.

Maybe a bit too much for my liking! I was talking to mike (i think thats his name) with the blue stilo whilst a few of you were showing off your exhausts! we had to get off then so I didnt get chance to say hello to anyone.

Mine was the black abarth parked on the grass with the filthy wheels, I was so ashamed... we passed the stand on our way out just after you lot had been revving your engines to compete for the best exhaust!
