(T) Service reminder reset

Evenin all :p

Does anyone know how to reset the service reminder thingy. The one that tells you so many days/miles until the next service.

All my cars get serviced at the garage my mam works at (Peugeot) and it costs me considerably less than paying full whack at a fiat dealership (ALSO the Fiat dealership in Darlington, Reg Vardy, have really clueless mechanics!)

Any help would be really appreciated

I can't help with resetting the service reminder but how does having it serviced at a Peugeot garage affact the warranty?.

If you haven't needed it yet getting warranty work on a Stilo is probably essential at some time.

From reading most of the comments on this forum a lot of FIAT dealers seem to be clueless but if servicing elsewhare invalidates the warranty (and I don't know if it does or not)I would judge it not worth the saving.

Not caused any problems to us before. Me and my dad have bought about 7 cars from the same fiat dealer. None of them have ever been serviced by the dealer but we've never had any problems getting warranty work done.

The Fiat warranty only requires that the car is serviced by a VAT Registered repairer (eg Not your mate down the road on his drive). They also stipulate that you must use Fiat parts (or equivilent quality) and that the schedule is accurately followed.

service reminder resets only if the car enters in the unit-diagnostics and that can be done in your fiat dealer.If you see the socket of the unit-diagnostics is not similar with any other cars
