power socket in boot

My Stilo does not have the power socket in the boot, I have the stupid hook thing instead.

does anyone know if the wiring is still there behind it? and therefore would it be a simple job to fit a lighter socket in place of the hook ?

I know there is a small inspection flap which gives easy access, any chance someone with the socket could take a piccy ?

(have a small fridge I want to be able to occasionally run in the boot without the wire coming through the seats.)

so having read through the various threads on the subject and PM'ing PJP and Rich291, I still don't know the answer.

having looked in the boot of my car I cannot find an obvious plug or part of the loom. My car has the small black plug as shown in one of the threads with a small diode fitted into it. (2 red wires). I can see no white plug - but maybe I am not looking hard enough?

apparently someone tried measuring the voltage at the small black plug and shows 3v so that doesn't sound right anyway.....

when you pull the diode out the boot light goes out ?

tried connecting to ePer but can't.
