(T) Stereo Problems

Hello,

New to the forums but glad i finally found a site that looks helpful with fiats.

Im having a few problems with my head unit in my fiat stilo 1.2 ACTIVE. I had a problem a few weeks ago where if i left a CD in it would get stuck the next time i turned the car on. It would be like this for ages and then al of a sudden it would come out.

Now my problem is there is no power to my unit, the unit stays off and i cant seem to turn it on. Im assuming the fuse is ok because the inside light still works. Please can anyone help before i start pulling my hair out

When you say inside light, you mean on the stereo itself?

No, this time there is no power at all to the stereo. I ment the inside light in the roof. I love ma little stilo but lately its beginning to get annoying. Ive already had these problems.

Sqeaky Suspension
Air Bag Failiure
Rear light Failiure
Stereo Faults (Repeat Offender)
One head light fill up with water :S

Theres a few others but to small to complain about

Fixed it

Took the fuse out and gave it a swift shouting at put it back in and it worked

I was about to say it sounds like a fuse- dam- if only I'd got out of bed sooner!

Its actually a power problem causing a software fault. By disconnecting the power (fuse) the system could then reboot up when the fuse was put back in. This sometimes happens to the older sets.
