| Re: Long term Parking HI Mate, If I was you, I would leave it your car outside a friends house, who will start it now and them, and check everything is OK. Get a friend to drop you off at airport. Leaving a car by itself for 2 weeks, means that sometime people notice that it has not been moved for some time, and sometime people will borrow parts, or even the car without your permission. Safer if left in a your home gargae if you have one. With a friend starting it at least half way through your hol. From a friend who works in a airport, alot of car crime happens there. Remember the sign they have at the the airport and all car parks, they do not take responiablity of you car while you are away from your vehicle. In gernal your ARlam should be OK after 2weeks, however if is goes off, it may run your battery down.

| :) | Re: Long term Parking Not an issue in airport car parking....tjhe security will be great in most case. Secondly, it should be fine surely?! WIthout having any experience with the specific car I can't tell you for 100% certain of course but it shouldn't be an issue at all! Also, the airport parking places have the battery boosters, make sure you check up on the use of with your car to avoid damage with ECU.

| Moderator | Re: Long term Parking Surely any modern car should be ok if left for two weeks. If the reliability of the Stilo was THAT poor I'd get a taxi!

| :) | Re: Long term Parking Only worry i'd have is how many electrics stay running during the time it's stood still...which would be more you would expect with a modern car. However, 2 weeks is nothing!

| Re: Long term Parking Left my 1.2 in my aunties drive for nearly 2 and a half weeks and it never moved or was turned over, started first time. Front tires seemed a bit soft though but that might just be me. Strangely the fag lighter had stopped working when i went to use the pump- but that was only a fuse.

| Re: Long term Parking
When I had my ibiza i dintd drive it or turn it over for a month+ and it still started first time but oil pressure light was on for about 2 minutes. 2 minutes is a long time when your cacking your pants about a broken engin and the cost! Anyway, most motors are stood still in storage for months on end before they're sold so i wouldnt worry
