(T) front speaker problems

Hi was just wondering if someone can tell me where i can take my stilo 1.8 so someone can sort out the front speakers (as they arent working) only the back ones work!!!! Took it to fiat dealer today and they said they wont touch it as it has so many wires in the door they dont know which is which, plus they are not oridigal fiat speakers. I only got the car on the 27th june and dont know what to do or who to take it to for someone to sort it out for me. HELP PLEASE

Not being cheeky but is the fader correctly set? Remove the unit & check connections on rear of unit failing that unclip the connectors at the 'A' pillar & reconnect as they often corrode but seems strange both sides have failed!
Interested to know who the Fiat dealer was you went to? especially if they didn't know the wiring...sounds like they couldn't be bothered!

Hi, thanks for answering me back. I went to the Telford branch of fiat. They were the ones that put a new sony cd/mp3 player into the car. When i got it home i realised the back speakers only worked. So i took it back and when they took the door off, they said there was so many wires there they didnt no which was which! They said they thought that at one time there was a bass box in the car and looks like the bloke that had it before me just cut the wires to get it out. Which is very possible as i just got my reg document the other day and looks like he had the car repossed because the prevous owner is stated as g e capital disposals. Hmmmmmmm.

Guess they haven't got a sparky at that branch then if they cant work out speaker wiring & should of checked it was working correctly on all channels! Any auto electrical places near you or ICE/alarm installers they should be able to help you out or take it back where you got it from if you got it from a garage.

When I first got my stilo, there was major probs with both the speakers and radio. After 3 new radios, it was solved, but the speakers they couldn't fix. eventually I found the problem my self. a loom of wires had been crushed when the dashboard was fitted. You could just see them poking out down the passengers side between the door and dash. Sigh...
