Safety recall on Multiwagon

Does anyone know what this safety recall is? Letter arrived this morning. Multiwagon JTD Dynamic, Sept 04. Could it be a fix for the front tyre wear? Or a retro-fit left foot-rest next to the clutch? So many exciting possibilities!

Is it safe to drive to London and back tomorrow? We'll just have to risk it eh?

Absolutely right, 4979. What will this fix do for me?

Re: Safety recall on Multiwagon

Its really to avoid an error message being flagged that isnt correct, its a software update due to a software error. It is one of the benefits of having programable ecus that if a fault is spotted they can be reprogrammed to latest spec and not require replacement. Its also for punto, doblo, multipla if I remember correctly.
