Problem with front susspension springs

The front suspennsion springs went on my 02 JTD Stilo and I had some new ones fitted.

Since having the new springs fitted I went to have my tracking checked as I have been getting bad wear on the inside of the front tyres......See other forum posts for info on this! But the mechanic said the springs didn't look right and to take them back to where they were fitted. Basically they appeared to have compressed and not decompressed so they were tight together. I got a new set of front springs and had them changed and after been fitted a week they were creeking when going over speed bumps and I was getting a grinding noise when going arround corners. I then looked at the springs and they have compressed again.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with front susspension on stilos? Or can anyone give advice on what could be causing the problem? I am not technically minded when it comes to cars so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Re: Problem with front susspension springs

JTD weighs a lot more than the 1.2 for example, a good many kilo's and most of that will be under the bonnet.
