(T) Amp connection to CN+

Has anyone connected an amp to their CN+? I was told to buy a PC3-11 connector from Halfords, which I did, & the amp works but no sound from the sub(& no the sub isn't buggered, already tested it). Any suggestions or idea's most welcome. Cheers!

Have you tested the amp ? - If the amp comes on then its a problem with the signal so test RCA's or the amp output.

Yeah it's definately something to do with the RCA adaptor. We plugged it all in & it didn't work, took the head unit out again & found half the wires on the connector were bloody frayed! What's worse is I can't take it back as I've no receipt.

Bump! anybody got any more ideas?

Did you get a new RCA adaptor ? - Also does the CN+ have an amp remote or do you have to wire it elsewhere? Just out of interest where did you run the power cable through the bulk head

I ran he cable through the bulkhead behind the glovebox, fiunnily enough there was a grommet there. Unfortunately still can't find outputs on the back of the head unit. I.ve been trying to see what I can find on the workshop CD. I think I'm going to have to email autoleads just to make sure I have the right connector.
