iPod owners, look inside and help me out (PLEASE)

Hi

Im after a way to connect my iPod to my Sat Nav+.

I THINK ive narrowed it doen to 2 products...

this
http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/ipod_cable.asp

or this
http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/ipod_cradle.asp

The top one Ive found very little information about while the bottom one sounds great but has had some very mixed reviews. Im prettey sure either wold work as they both have the blaupunkt connection for CD changer.

Does anyone have any experience of either unit?

Many thanks Steev

Had a iTrip which was good and now have a tunecast II which IMHO is better (BUT MUCH UGLIER), thing is I like the idea of it being an extension o the car stereo rather than just a bolt on. These shoud enable me to use it from the controls in the car.

I was in soundmaster scotland today talking to the guy about maybe doing a nice new head unit install. I asked about also hooking an ipod to the existing visteon stereo, he said there was something coming out soon which would be ideal, around 65 quid but i didnt catch the name.

It all depends, out in the sticks Ive found FM mods to do a good job, on motorways they are okay as well so long as you have plenty of preprogrammed channels to use.

In and around towns or cities though they are more or less

Thanks for the input though, just out of interest does your dad have an ice link or ice link plus?

Cheers

Steev
