(T) Standard Speaker upgrades

I was thinking of upgrading my standard speakers. I have had the door cards off and noticed the front speakers (mids) are glued and screwed on like a pod that goes behind the grill. Is there any adapter i may need to put after market ones on. Also the rear speakers did anyone drill new mountin holes for there new speakers and for both what speakers do u know have.

I am fairly sure on shangin the rears but not too sure on the fronts cos of that pod kinda thingy lol

I have not got as far as taking the door cards off yet ... not sure I want too

you can get speaker adaptors for the stilo (the front ones look like the pod as you described but with 4 holes in it, the rear ones are flat and slightly elongated) i bought them to do a upgrade but havent got round to fitting them just yet. i got them from www.ihavetohave.it but ive just had a look and cannot seem to find the site but i did find this http://www.auto-connect.co.uk/acatalog/Fiat.html ( scroll down to see the adaptors)

On the subject of speaker upgrades can anyone tell me how big the standard ones are?

I can recommend using Blaupunkt's "car configurator" on their website.
It gives you all the numbers.

They even make the speaker adaptor.
