manual & bulbs

Anybody experienced the pleasure of the CD workshop manuals on ebay.

Junk or Jewel?

Also, the Stilo lights are 'kin excellent(Compared to my old 1991 Pug 405) but am tempted by the Osram bulbs also on ebay, any thoughts?

Thanks

Ash

Re: manual & bulbs

Yep, I have a manual to hand - looks like I may be doing a few copies, and seeing that I introduced you to this site, lol, I will sort one out for you - PM details

Osram are good?! But how do you intend to replace them? Not an easy DIY job!

Re: manual & bulbs

I'm currently working on putting the manual online to go with the EPER parts catalogue at http://www.findmyoldcar.com:7080 but it's taking some time to figure out the data structure

Nice one John - let me know when this is envisaged , don't want to burn and send out disks needlessly.

Talking Re: manual & bulbs

Try this site for your bulbs; www.powerbulbs.com they seem reasonable.

Re: manual & bulbs

Thanks Stu for the offer on the disc, details to follow.

I've looked at the space on the 1.6 engine bay doesn't seem toooooooo bad(cautiously said), maybe a 1 or 2 spanner job(ref the difficulty rating of the mighty oracle AKA Haynes).

As you speak from experience and before I get stressed, swearing, shouting WHY WHY WHY!! and cutting my hand to shreads in plastic and metal bits. Where are the pitfalls.

Thanks

Ash

The maintenance operation detailed by fiat states that for the offside you must remove the washer bottle, and for the nearside the battery if I remember correctly. Having said that I've seen posts on here of dealers dropping the bumper to do it!
