| Get Your Own Title | Parcel Shelf Speakers Forgive me for being somewhat clueless. When I bought my car there were a pair of speakers fitted in the parcel shelf, but they haven't been connected. Can anyone give me any pointers as to where I have to run the cables and connect to. Thanks in for any help.

| Cymru Am Byth! | Re: Parcel Shelf Speakers best place would be to run them down the left side of the car (passenger side) ond push them up under the skirt thing to keep them out of the way, then when you get to the footwell put them under the carpet then back behind the glove box and dash into your stereo! hope that helps

| <Team TD> | Re: Parcel Shelf Speakers im only saying this in the knowledge of how i wired my puntos parcel selve speakers in.. Down the passengers side of the car i unscrewed the plastic bit running down the side of the car (the bit next to the seats) and all the cars original wiring for the normal speakers was under there and then they go under the carpet into the back of the head unit. Then they went through under the seats into the boot. But the stilo will not do this as the original speakers are in the back unlike the punto. So whether you can use the wires under there to run to your speakers by extending them or something? Dunno if this helps as i have not had a look at the stilos set up because i dunno how i what i want to do with the stupid big head unit lol

| Re: Parcel Shelf Speakers In my ibiza it was simple to put in shelf speaks as the wiring was already fed to the boot as the original fitted speakers were there. It was just a case of disconnecting those and wiring in new ones. It did mean i couldnt take the shelf out though. With the stilo wiring stops at the rear speakers next to the seating bit, so you would have to work your way back there. I was quoted £50 for a stealth shelf build and fitting with snap on connectors for easy removal.
