Question Replacing Pollen Filter

Hi

Anybody know how to replace the cabin pollen filter?

I've got a replacement from Bosch that comes with some 'sketchy' instructions showing removing 2 screws from the lower passenger side of the centre console, removing the panel and then sliding the filter out.

The only problem is that the screws aren't screw at all but 'rubber rivets' that don't seem to want to come out and I don't want to damage anything.

Anyone had success in replacing the filter on their car? Any tips will be appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

Re: Replacing Pollen Filter

One thing, if you're thick like me you may try to pull the plastic end of the filter housing towards the clutch pedal end and will have difficulty (i.e.it will not come out) The plastic end you see in the picture is a cap which slides towards the front of the car for removal, the pollen filter sits behind and is not at all dificult to get out and only slightly difficult to relace.
