Excessive tyre wear on front inner

Today I changed to winter wheels. Estetically that's a tradgedy every autumn. But the car is much better to drive with 195/60-15 than with my summer wheels that are 215/45-17 (on Fiat original "Claw"-rims). Now to the point. When I got the summer wheels off I noticed that the innermost 3-4 cm of the tyre is completely worn down to slicks while the rest of the thread is ok. This picture also shows that the angle of the surface is different on the front tyres (red circle) compared to the rear tyres (blue circle).

Any ideas what might be causing this? The winter tyres have nothing of the same although they have run almost the same amount of kilometers. (Appr. 30000 km on summer tyres and 25000 km on winter tyres.)

/Dan

Re: Excessive tyre wear on front inner

Ah, thanks! I had a faint memory of reading some thread about tyre wear but in my memory it was just about rear axle problems so I didn't search for it. Now I see it was about front wear as well. Seems I should get a check done when spring comes and it's time to put on the alloys again.

Re: Excessive tyre wear on front inner

Sorry - that wasn't very helpful.

If I was you, I wouldn't waste another minute (assuming the car is under warranty). Get along to your dealer and tell them you want it sorted.
Not only are the tyres wearing (and you're not getting value for money out of them, are you ?) but the car won't hold the road like it should.
I had a nightmare in he snow last winter, I've had the car into the dealers five times, it's supposed to have been fixed twice, but my new tyres are going exactly the same way.
