| My stilo is now in 3rd year of warranty. Ever since I got the car which was when it was just over a year old, I have had the creaking in the back, rough idle/kangarooing, pulling to the left. It's been in loads of times but these three issues are still there. I reversed into something a while back and scrunched up the exhaust a bit. Now, according to the dealer, all of a sudden everything is due to a bang in the back that the car must have had at sometime. The creaking in the rear suspension is not that at all, its the exhaust pipe. Even though they replaced a shock and greased the bushes many times before to cure it before I scrunched the exhaust. The pulling to the left must be because the car itself may be out of line (they have checked tracking but don't have the gear to do a wheel alignment). The rough idle is down to the exhaust rattling and nothing at all to do with the engine. The kangarooing they have never really got to grips with anyway. It seems a bit of a coincidence that I have the problems that seem to pretty general to Stilos on this forum, but because there is something to blame them all on in my case nothing seems to be getting done. Does anyone know, or have any ideas what I can do to get things sorted.

| Re: Where do I go from here with these probs? i have a stilo 1.2.ihad the same problems.I took my car to fiat dealer who adjusted the atmospheric presures on the injectors .this made it abit better, but what made it alot better ,was when i changed the plugs and airfilter.Ref steering pulling to one side, took car to fiat dealer ,told them situation.they adjusted the wishbones ,as set tracking to parralel. All this done under warrenty, apart from changing plugs and filter. Now the car doesnt pull to left or right,is less noisy and pulls better.

| Re: Where do I go from here with these probs? Take your car to another dealer that meets the standards required by Fiat, How can they "check the tracking" without the gear to do the alignments because its the same equipment all they have done is road tested it i think, there are technical bulletins on wheel alignment problems for front and rear tyres and there are bulletins on noises for rear axle (they fit a complete axle once certain tests are done so find someone who can help you and know what they talking about.

| Re: Where do I go from here with these probs? Cheers mate. I was begining to think along the lines of second opinion. IT is booked in for service next Thursday. I will give them one more chance, seeing as I am there. If I have no luck I will take it some place else and ask that they check things out for me.
