Question Something broke off!

This may be minor, but today a small plastic dome broke off the dash of my Stilo. It's located at the front middle of the dash between the defrosters by the windscreen. What the heck is it? Can I just forget about it, glue it back on (although it has clips that broke off), or have Fiat replace it?

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Re: Something broke off!

Mine broke off too, I think it is something to do with the central locking sensor but mines still works so I didnt bother replacing it.

Talking Don't worry about it.........................

it's the cover for the climate control sensor!

Not having it doesn't make a scrap of difference. Relax!

Re: Something broke off!

OK, I didn't think it was that serious. I was more curious than anything. And, if it's for climate control that's fine, since I don't have climate control.

Since it's a sensor thing, I have another sensor issue. Sometimes when I first start the car up in the morning, I get a message that my coolant temperature is too high and to stop the engine. I have also had messages saying that the ASR and antilock brakes are malfunctioning when I start up. These go away when I turn off the engine and restart. Presumably just niggly little problems that may require a sensor reset at the dealership?

I really appreciate your help.
