(T) Stilo tech specs

Hello Stilo owners!

The stilo is one fiat I know least about. Could someone tell me the 0-60, 0-100 etc and bhp or any other exciting facts about this car (Yes I am that sad) I think its the 2.4 abarth version that is the fastest? Or am i wrong on this one? tell me!!

Abarth only manages to squeeze 170 brake out of a 2.4 engine! My astra had the same bhp and that was only a 2ltr non turbo. Still, I bet its a smoothie.

oh it's a smoothy alright - the 2.4 engine is more about torque and smoothness of delivery. Generally BHP is more about top speed rather than acceleration. The Stilo will touch about 140 mph - more than enough for the average driver!!

as long as you enjoy your motor, that's all that matters.
Still think it should have been 190bhp tho!!

I agree Pinin Abarth should have been at least 190BHP if not 220. I love the coupe - I think they're absolute stunners both in looks and performance. At some point I'd love to own one, but the patter of tiny feet meant I had to be slightly sensible and get the Alfa instead!!!

Hey don't kid yourself - A good percentage of the guys and gals on the coupe forum use the coop to cart around kids and all the paraphenalia that goes with it. Its surprisingly spacious in the back and has a decent sized boot thanks to the "cut off" design at the back.
You can pick up a mint coop cheap now, I really can't praise these cars enough. But then again I haven't been stung with my first big bill yet (touch wood!)

@pinin - how much do u pay for insurance on your coupe? my bro had a 20v turbo about 5 years ago and it frightened the sh¦t out of me, thats why i like um !!! id love to own one but being 23 i can hear the insurers laughing at me already!

I am 22, 23 next week. I am paying just under a grand fully comp, which i think is a bit of a bargain considering the cars performance and insurance group (18)!
I bought a 16 valve turbo version before this one, And that was only about a hundred squids cheaper, It was a lot slower as well.
Only thing is, to own the 20vt version, most insurers ask that the driver be 23 or over, not a problem in your case. Well I had already bought the car and wasn't 23 for 2 months. My arse was twitching I can tell you!!
Fortunately they made an exception as I was so close to the requirement.
I do have 4 yrs no claims tho.

Oh yeah, had an astra GSI before my coupe affair, and that was a grand third party fire and theft
