Sorry but it’s that head light question – again!

I have to apologise now for bringing up this old ‘Stilo nearside headlight’ chestnut but I don’t have time right now to browse though the forum archive.

Anyway, I know there’s lots of advise about how to Do It Yourself, but did I read somewhere on the forum a posting about 'Fiat not charging for the work as this job is essentially a task for a garage to do'.

I had to do the off side one a while back and that’s not the easiest either. Even with washer bottle and the assortment of pipes shifted ‘tis still fiddly but doable.
Though I’ve had a go at doing the near side one in the past I had to give up and let the garage do it for I suppose at the time a nominal fee.

Had them do the job last week before I get pulled over (plod having an all car lights purge pre- clocks going back ) and I think they are taking the pi**.
Don’t fancy saying how much – too embarrassed!

I now plan to write to Fiat and tell them what I think so an answer to this question could help.

Surely the time it took to write that post could have been used doing a bit of scrolling through pages....

Agreed - find an existing thread and add a question at the end if you wish.
