(T) Connect Nav+ PAYG Credit Display

Just got round to reading the CN+ user manual (all else failed).

It says that if using a 'Pay As You Go' SIM card in the telephone, the display shows the remaining credit on the SIM during a call.

It doesn't work on mine and I can't find any way to make it work so I have to keep swapping the SIM back into my mobile to check credit.

Does anyone have this function working? and is there a way to activate it?

Cant you just dial the relevant number for your network to get the balance?

eg. 150 on Tmobile, or 453 on orange?

If you mean the text based ones they use SMS to request the information but the CN+ doesnt support it, AFAIK it was only the really old BT cellnet sims that came with some old philips phones that had a real-time balance on screen, but these were phased out due to exploits.

its a network based feature. as far as i know only o2 supports it.

i have an o2 sim in mine and the credit comes up every time i end a call that i have dialled

Tesco Mobile piggybacks on O2, and it shows up as well - but you can dial *#10# (iirc) and that gives the balance as well.
