(T) Best Earth???

I'm fitting my new sub and amp in the boot of my stilo the weekend, just want to know where is the best place to take the earth/ground from? If anyone has fitted an amp in their boot where did they take it from?

from one of the strapping hooks, which screw down the carpet, they are a good earth, you can always test it with a multimeter after,

The best earth is back to the battery!!!!

I thought it was best to have as short an earth as possible, that's why I want to earth it in the boot

As long as the earth cable you are using is of a suitable size, length is not an issue

Make sure that whatever you earth it to is not painted, that sometimes becomes a problem
