| gauges droping to zero and car runs checks as i'm driving! help hey guys anyone had problems with the body computer on 1.2l 2002 stilo's? weird messages, the clock and date keep resetting, as I'm driving the car keeps running system checks (as it does when you first start the car) then engine fault light, airbag light and the rev, speedo fuel and temp gauges drop to zero for a sec and back up again, however the engine is running fine throughout? help and one know where i can get a virgin body computer for cheap!!! i'm told it costs between €500 and €550 euro plus vat.

More likely a bad earth issue I'd have thought or a bad node on the CAN line.

Maybe one of the ECU's has a data problem and needs a good reset. I have had 3 times this kind of problems. Oh, and be sure the lights are off when you connect the battery or else the light bulbs blow out instantly. OldMan.
