Re: stilo 1,6T

Didn't realise they did a Stilo Turbo!

Did you buy that from FIAT, or did you buy the turbo as an after market extra?

Re: stilo 1,6T

3800E incl. gauges (halmeter, barmeter, oiltemp, turbo temp.) and turbo timer.., garret t25, intercooler, pipes, ecu paralel, blowoff valve and oil freeg.

once i did a dynotest during summer it showed 156bhp at 0,5bar (36oC ex temp) and 22,8kgr mom. now it must be around 180 at 0,7bar (25oC ex temp)......

Re: stilo 1,6T

Did you lower the compression, if you didn´t the T would stand for timebomb (i know i´ve done it lots of times, 0,7bar is not to be used on HCR engines)

And 180hp coming from a 1.6Turbo would not be a lot of power
(i´m not flamed or saying it isn´t possible just wrong if the compression is stock)

Re: stilo 1,6T

the compression rate is now down to 8,2:1

i would't anything like that if a didn't lower the compresion....
a lot of fuss 4 nothing...max 0,4 bar.....

And 180hp coming from a 1.6Turbo would not be a lot of power

using stock pistons???????

i am just waiting 4 the new forged pistons to go 4 1,0 bar...

honestly i think that 180bhp from a light turbo conversion is a lot...

Re: stilo 1,6T

hmmmm...what is the name.....

i changed that part that is within the engine block and the valves with a thicker one.....

u can also use 2 or 3 of that part one on top of the other...

it is the cheepest way to play with compression values....easy..

the best way though is 2 get a set o forged pistons and increase the pressure to 1bar and over...

this is why i say it is a light turbo conversion

Re: stilo 1,6T

I also want a turbo conversation (now I've got NOS) ,can you please write all the details, where did you get these parts, what is the price, what are the problems

can we get 50 hp only by turbo (without any ecu, fuel pump and intercooler upgrade)

Re: stilo 1,6T

i am afraid that there is no way u could get an xtra 50ps without using those parts i've mentioned cause u would't want the pressure to exceed 0,3 bar....

u defently need to either place an extra fuel injector, or replace them with 4 new spraying about 250cc instead of 150cc...

u wont need 2 replace the fuel pump as the pressure of the stock pump can be increased up 2 3,5 just by playing with a little metalic thing that it has on...

all the parts r made from my mechanic (ecxept from the turbine of course), and the parallel ecu which is programmed with a laptop on my stilo is programed by a greek guy who has s/ing like 3 degrees in comps and mechanology...Digital tech is the firms name....

if u ever come 2 greece (we are neighbors i see) i' ll show u...

greetings to cardiff where i spend 4 amazing years...

Re: stilo 1,6T

Sorry if i´m being intrusive but i´m a turbo freak(i´ll turbo anything with an engine)And it seems unlikely that a thicker headgasket would fit with the stock cambelt
