few problems!!

Hi all this is my 1st post so go easy on me!!

I have a 02 fiat arbarth (yellow ) and i have had a few problems with my

phone - wont connect
gps - wont route calculate

how do you reset the servive indicator?

i looked at the hidden service menu and it says GSM HW VERSION 5.5.
and GSM BOOT VERSION V01.09

how can i tell in laymans terms what system i have -- connect or connect +????

just an update

when i turn the car on and i get the blue fiat screen in the bottom right hand corner it says 9.7

What year maps are you using? Do you get any satellite signal for the GPS? If not, then I would suggest it was the antenna at fault. Connect Nav + has a 7 inch colour screen, Connect Nav has a small orange screen I think.

thanks for the quick reply
i am using 2004/04 navteq map, I get a green satillite and 6 sats at the mo and when i go in to the servive menu it says GPS ok.
I must have a connect nav + then it looks about 7" corner to corner!!

oh yer just updated to 9.8 using one of the other threads - this site is very good - didnt know they existed!! New to these computer things.

Just have to learn italian now,

the service indicator can be reset at SOME garages, I got mine reset using a mobile mechanic using snap-on diagnostic, but some cannot reset it.
