Locating the AQS sensor (Air qualitycontrol sensor)

I have a Fiat stilo 1.9 JTD 2003 with climate control and AQS sensor, which measures the quality of the air and choses either outside air or recirculation depending of the quality.

Does any1 know where this sensor is located. Preferable with pictures.

I suspect the thing to be dirty and would like to clean it, or it surroundings.
The sensor takes a long time to shift from recirculation to outside air when no cars are in front.

Re: Locating the AQS sensor (Air qualitycontrol sensor)

The AQS sensor is behind the openings at the lower part of the climate control unit in the middle.

under scuttle panel ( I assume you mean pollution sensor) very unlikely to go wrong.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes i assume the AQS/Pollution sensor is the same thing.

I will have a look at mine. Perhaps its just a new filter thats needed, since it has been some time since it was last replaced.
