re: 1.2 Engine Fault and jolt to car

just got back from the garage and had a new crank shaft sensor fitted........ its the same if not worse now!!!

They suggested that it could be the fact that ive had a new computer fitted in october and its faulty because fiat never fit new ones only reconditioned ones?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Good chance it's a poor contact (on the connector) which means you most likely didn't need a new sensor.

So are you saying that used parts are more reliable than new (I think your re-con gearbox has been OK hasn't it?)

re: 1.2 Engine Fault and jolt to car

majority of manufactuers only fit new parts if car has not yet been out on the road, otherwise its recon items (if applicable)

why an I never spell 'manufactuers'
