Unhappy Re: Flat Battery!

New battery might clear the fault - ****note**** might clear the fault.

Odd though - never happened to me in any car I've owned but as I recall I'm sure others have suffered this with Stilos. Reminds me, I could do with changing my battery - it is the original one the car came with from new......

Re: Flat Battery!

I changed my battery this week £85, I was getting spurious errors due to it not holding charge. Sounds like that's your issue too.

Re: Flat Battery!

Most likely the battery. It's a classic on Stilos.

Re: Flat Battery!

seems to be ok now and engine fault cleared. Anyone know what type of screwdriver is used for taking off engine cover and where to get one?

Re: Flat Battery!

just use a flat head that fits?? it doesn't need to be over tight just pinched up.

An allen key (not sure what size) is also a good fit!

Re: Flat Battery!

just come back from 12 days away myself and jtd 1.9 m/w fired to life ok ,though I did have one of those £10 solar trickle charge things plugged in as I do not do that many miles at the moment and tend to keep it connected when not using the car for a few days as they do not put out a high amp current.
