| It's about GO! not SHOW! | Re: Lowering Springs?? Your only choice really is Eibach (masses of threads if you use search). Unless you intend to change dampers as well then don't drop lower than 30mm (unless you like crap handling

I lowered the Uno I had for the first time about 5 years ago, with another brand of springs if I recall correctly. Handling was great for half a year. Then the dampers were shot like bicycle pumps. So, I would never lower a car without changing to sport shocks at the same time. I guess it is possible to mix and match to find great solutions, but the Eibach set seems pretty well balanced regarding enthusiastic handling and family comfort. My Stilo got the complete Eibach set in march 07 and has been perfect since. Morten.

Thanks: 6 Trader Rating: (0) Drives: | Re: Lowering Springs?? I'll be getting the Eibach springs and dampers at the same time. Can get the whole deal for well under £400 from here, though the springs themselves are separate from the dampers... http://www.potn.co.uk/ Springs... http://www.potn.co.uk/p1331655.htm Dampers... http://www.potn.co.uk/p1338152.htm Fitting will probably bring the total cost up to around £500, which I think is pretty reasonable.
