| Re: connect navigation on fiat stilo Could just be the backlight then, but usually it will still play a CD/ radio if that is the case. Are the buttons illuminated?

| Re: connect navigation on fiat stilo there is nothing illuminated, the fiat deale says the unit is completely defunct, i have removed from car, but the speaker leads do not seem to be connecting to the speakers, so cannot even fit an ordinary radio for the time being, does anyone know if the connect unit switches the speaker leads when its in use, thanks bren

| Re: connect navigation on fiat stilo
First thing to check if the CN+ unit is completely not functioning is the power to it. If you can plug another stereo in and it powers up OK, then the CN+ is faulty. If the new radio has no power then you have a problem with the wiring in the car. Here is the pinout for the connectors http://www.isham-research.co.uk/quat...85/isopin.html Connectors A and B are standard ISO pinout on the CN+ and will plug into most aftermarket stereos.

| *custom name* | Re: connect navigation on fiat stilo a new stereo wont work directly. remember theres no ignition feed so you can join live and ignition together it shud b fine im sorry if this is a stupid question but have you checked your power feed to it? fuses? possibly even earth the speakers shouldnt make a difference. if this all happened all of a suden it may be one of them. go to an ice dealer and tell them to test if everything going to the unit is working fine reminding them theres no ignition feed. they can usually do this with a small battery and multimeter. if it is then i would start 2 wry about repairing but finding out the fault would be my line of thought

| Re: connect navigation on fiat stilo My CN+ definately does have an ignition feed. No joining of wires or changing anything required.
